This simulator displays what one 2022 World Cup draw might look like. It generates a new draw every time by simulating every remaining qualifying game (including updating the FIFA ranking for each team) and selected friendlies, sorts the teams into pots by FIFA ranking, and then creates a FIFA-compliant group draw. All known games are simulated and the FIFA rankings adjusted. Teams who will not be known at the time of the draw are marked with an asterisk (*). Play-off winners cannot be drawn into the same group as their opponent's confederation. Also note: this simulates what is possible, so while your sim may be highly unlikely (a team with <1% chance qualifying or a >99% not qualifying), it is not impossible; the sim does not like New Zealand due to their low ranking; and at the moment, groups will make sure the draw works properly (European team in each group) but do not appear to require a European team (to simplify coding, there is one scenario where a non-compliant draw may exist.)
